Amazingly, all Pudge Rodriguez had to do to earn this reception was show up. The legendary Rangers catcher was dealt back to Texas to help atone for the injury absence of starting catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia, immediately ascending to cult hero status as a result. He may be little more than a mascot for the team's stretch run, but that might be enough for them to maintain Wild Card momentum, don't you think? (Tony Gutierrez/AP)
