Moment of Levity: The Big Picture

tulowitzki.JPG

SUDDENLY, A FREQUENT SIGHT

In case you'd missed it, the Rockies are officially the hottest team in baseball ... and it isn't even close. After beating the Dodgers on the hit that immediately preceded this Troy Tulowitzki celebration, Colorado is just 2 games back in the NL West, after trailing by 15 1/2 games on June 3. That's right, in less than three months, the Rockies have shaved 13 1/2 games off the divisional lead. Only in the NL West, you say? Sure, but only with a very good team, too. Evidently Colorado has one of those this year. (Jack Dempsey/AP)
