The Best Infield Play You'll Ever See

Hopefully you already caught this gem during some portion of last night's SportsCenter, or, if you were really lucky, during the Twins game against the Orioles. Not only did Twins second baseman Alexei Cassila get the Twins out of a rough inning with one of the most innovative scoop relays we've ever seen, he did it with perfect accuracy. It was almost as if Minnesota shortstop Orlando Cabrera didn't have to move his glove.

Since MLB rips down any highlight videos put up on YouTube, this comes from the SportsCenter Top 10 list, rightfully in the No. 1 slot. And if you don't have the patience to listen to Stan Verrett drop a couple pretty good lines -- including a solid Elvis impersonation -- and Neil Everett incite his daily Big Lebowski and bartender reference, then you can skip right to 1:55 in the video and get the play itself. It's so magical, it's well worth it.

Big Lebowski references are the best reasons to watch Sportcenter, Smith.

The clip isn't available anymore. You can find it here:

He made a few more great plays last weekend, too. The knock on him was that he hadn't made the mental transition to 2nd. I guess that's not the case anymore.

I've always been high on this guy.
