Moment of Levity: The Big Picture
A COMPELLING CASE FOR JOE TORRE'S HAIR CUT POLICY
We've always been skeptics of Dodgers Manager Joe Torre's mandatory hair cut policy, but clearly his appetite for short hair has waned since Manny Ramirez arrived on the scene last year. The slugger's dreadlocks have gotten so out of hand that, as you can see on this recent swing against the Padres, they often can get in the way of his actual vision. Now, we're not optometrists or professional baseball players, but this seems a bit counteractive to us. Just a thought. Maybe a trim would help Manny snap out of his recent power slump?
