Wolf to the Brewers a done deal; Millwood to the O's?

The Milwaukee Brewers have finalized a deal for free agent lefty Randy Wolf that will reportedly pay him a total of $27.75 million over three years -- one more indication the free agent marketplace may be more favorable for the players than previously thought. This, of course, has ramifications for other free agents and teams (such as the Nationals) further down the food chain, as prices for pitching appear to be climbing.

*Also Wednesday, the Baltimore Sun reports the Orioles are close to completing a trade with the Texas Rangers that would bring veteran right-hander Kevin Millwood to Baltimore and send right-handed reliever Chris Ray to Texas, with the Rangers kicking in some cash towards the $12 million owed to Millwood in 2010.

The Orioles have been seeking a veteran presence atop their young rotation.
