Apparently It's Not a Celebration
For years, critics of the National Football League have dubbed the NFL the "No Fun League." The same may be occurring within Major League Baseball as a pair of celebrations has drawn criticism and, in one case, suspension as MLB may now stand for "Most-Likely Boring."

Is the National League Really That Easy?
For years it's been said that National League hitting is inferior to that of the American League but in the past few weeks it seems like pitchers who have recently left the AL for the NL are having their way with the senior circuit.

Mariners Land Bill Hall
The Brewers had quietly let it be known for awhile that they'd love to offload outfielder Bill Hall on any team that really wanted him. Well, it turns out that a team really wanted him, after he was designated for assignment: The Mariners. Seattle and Milwaukee agreed to a trade yesterday afternoon that sends Hall to the Mariners in exchange for a minor league pitcher, Ruben Flores.

Moment of Levity: The Big Picture
How athletic is Orlando Hudson? Seriously, it's ridiculous. The Dodgers' second baseman seems to make more acrobatic plays than just about anyone in baseball, and this play on Thursday night at Chavez Ravine was no different. Yet, with a vertical leap like the one Hudson is showing off here, is anyone else wondering why he isn't playing basketball? Seriously, he looks like he's flying here!

Raging Mad at HBPs
Evidently that changed dramatically after the game. According to reports from the L.A. Times and other sources, Brewers slugger Prince Fielder charged the tunnel to the Dodgers' locker room after being plunked during Los Angeles' 17-4 rout of Milwaukee. He never made it to the actual locker room (or, thankfully, to Mota), but he had to be held back by multiple teammates and security guards to keep him from it.

Who's Next in Line for 500 Saves?
Now that Mariano Rivera has joined Trevor Hoffman as the only pitchers to tally 500 saves it's time to look and see who, if anyone has a chance to some day be a part of the club.
