About This Project
Post Pentagon correspondent Ann Scott Tyson is with U.S. Marines as they attempt to assert control over Afghanistan's southern Helmand province. The Marines are part of the 21,000 additional troops that President Obama has decided to send to Afghanistan this year in an effort to defeat a resurgent Taliban.
