Radanovich's Gift from Staff: A Shotgun

California Republican Rep. George Radanovich's annual financial disclosure form ends with a bang. Released last week, the last page of the document lists a single gift from his congressional staff: a $650 shotgun. The price tag seems in line with what standard hunting model shotguns sell for, although fancier collectors' guns can be much more expensive.

Radanovich hails from rural Mariposa County, home to Yosemite National Park, and until the current Congress chaired a subcommittee with jurisdiction over wilderness issues. His 2005 financial disclosure report listed no reportable gifts from his staff or anyone else.
