Poll Preview: 60% Approve of Obama on Economy
Sixty percent of Americans approve of the way President Obama is handling the nation's economy, a public assessment that's on par with the initial public ratings on the issue for Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush. George W. Bush started lower, reached the 60 percent mark after 9/11 and ended his tenure at 24 percent approval on the economy.
The high number for Obama from the new Washington Post-ABC News poll covers over a deep partisan divide: 83 percent of the Democrats polled said he's doing well on the economy, that drops to 61 percent among independents and all the way to 24 percent among Republicans.

Wow, a Washington Post-ABC News
Poll shows that 60% Approve of Obama on the Economy.
The same people who sold this faulty product to the nation give him good ratings.
Who would have thought it. Moreover, considering the source, who believes it.

Washington Post readers are mostly made up of government workers, union officials, DC residents, welfare recipients, ACORN, etc. THEY ALL DEPEND ON THE GOVERNMENT for their livelihood. I'm surprised that this poll is anthing less than 99%.

Where did they actually go to get their numbers? I certainly do not hear anything of the sort around here (Northern VA).
