Few see America as well-positioned economically
Barely more than a third of all Americans rate the country's ability to compete economically in positive terms, according to a new Washington Post poll.
A narrow majority of those polled - 51 percent - say it is important for the United States to be No. 1 in the global economy, but fewer voters now say the country is prepared for foreign economic rivalry than said so 20 years ago.

In the case of global economy I think as long as we are a leading global power we are okay. However. As far as the US economy is concerned on a local scale...It's junk.
To many people are out of jobs and unable to find work. The weakening on the US dollar is a major problem. Not for in the global perspective but in the success and prospering of US citizens.
I have clearly defined 5 leading problems with our economy and what steps to take to place your assets in the right place during these dangerous times.
