Poll: Investigating radical American Muslims

A new Gallup poll finds a slight majority of 52 percent saying it is appropriate to hold congressional hearings on the role of radical Islam among American Muslims. Those hearings, to be led by Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), have been controversial for singling out members of this community.

Poll: Deficits haven't changed public priorities

Despite the fierce political battle over federal spending and budget cutting, a newly released poll confirms that little changed in American spending priorities between 2008 and 2010, the heart of the recession.
