Meet Melissa Bell

Born in San Diego, Calif., Melissa Bell headed east for college at Georgetown University. After school, she kept heading east until she landed in New Delhi with a six-month contract to help launch Mint newspaper, the Indian partner of the Wall Street Journal. Six months quickly turned into three years while she covered the region in Mint, the Guardian, Time, and Departures. In 2010, the siren song of bland food called her back to the United States. Melissa joined the Washington Post upon her return and now anchors BlogPost, a one-stop-shop about what people are talking about on TV, online, on their mobile phones and at their water coolers.
