Music Morning: Nick Cave and Joan Jett do not duet
Today marks the birthday of two musicians, who have growled and sneered their way into BlogPost's heart. There was no sense in choosing one, so you'll have to double up your listening pleasure today. Nick Cave, the Australian singer, author, filmmaker, bad boy, turns 53, while the leather-clad rock'n'roller Joan Jett turns 52 today.
(Thanks, Paulo!)

I was in college when Joan Jett had her breakout hits. She was great fun to listen to and even more fun to watch. There was always an undertone of silliness to her. Sort of like a little kid pretending to be all grownup. A sentiment I've always found familiar.
