Morning music: Bing Crosby, did you evah?
I met Bing Crosby first in the guise of a horseman. His photograph graced the horse track by my childhood home. I would go to the track and look at the debonair, grinning man and picture him walking beneath the palm trees with a bevy of Hollywood starlets. When I saw his movies, the man fit the photograph: dashing with just a glimmer of devil-may-care. The crooner died 33 years ago today at the age of 72.
