♪♫ New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys hang tough

What you're hearing right now is the collective gasps and shrieks of young adult women everywhere getting back in touch with their inner tween.

Two boy bands of yesteryear are combining their collective powers of schmaltz for a U.S. tour next year. The New Kids on the Block, the band du jour of the '80s, and the Backstreet Boys, their '90s reincarnation, will be kicking off a tour on the American Music Awards on Nov. 21, Ryan Seacrest revealed on his show Wednesday.

(When did Seacrest become the news-breaking, president-interviewing go-to guy?)

As 20- and 30-year-old women squee with delight, let's revisit the tune that still makes this particular writer weak in the knees.
