Tech News: Facebook crime fighting

The Post's Marc Fisher suffered a home robbery last week. To add salt to the wounds, the thief posted his photo showing off the stolen goods on Fisher's son's Facebook page. Meanwhile in England, a woman tracked down her alleged rapist by seeking him out on Facebook.


Sad news: Santa's letters from kids

The DCist points out the inherent depressing-ness in a story about the U.S. Postal Service receiving more letters to Santa from children asking for shoes, coats and socks instead of toys.

News news: BP sued

The U.S. has filed a civil suit against BP and eight other companies for the gulf oil spill. The suit does not rule out future criminal charges.


Tech news: Twitter $200 million richer

Twitter has raised another $200 million for its growth fund, adding a healthy influx of cash to keep pace with its fast growth. All Things Digital has the full story.
