♪♫ William Shatner is a romantic at heart

My desk shrine to William Shatner.
In case you didn't realize from our relentless coverage of the man, we here at BlogPost suffer from a severe crush on William Shatner. (As proof, I submit the above photograph of a photograph of Shatner that hangs on my desk.)
He's taken the public caricature of William Shatner and made it into a full-time business playing a slightly comic, slightly insane version of himself. I'm pretty sure he's in on the joke. His spoken-word tributes to pop songs need an entry in musical history of their own. Monday night he serenaded two love birds with Rihanna's "Umbrella." I couldn't ask for a better Valentine's Day gift from the Shatner I love (it's around the 4:07-minute mark):
