I am headed off the grid for a few days ...
So, if I don't return your e-mail right away, it's not because I hate you.
Today I am traveling to my friend Katie Ryan's wedding in exotic Jamestown, N.D. (It's okay, I don't really know where it is, either. Apparently, it's halfway between Bismarck and Fargo.)
Katie and I became close friends while working at the newspaper at our all-girls high school in Omaha. We went to different colleges in Nebraska, and swapped lots of funny (and not-so-funny) stories about working at campus newspapers. Today, we both work as reporters -- and are teaching each other about this whole blogging thing.
The plan is to leave my laptop at home. My Blackberry might work -- but, keep in mind, I will be somewhere between Bismarck and Fargo in the middle-of-nowhere, North Dakota.
But have no fear: The blog will continue to be updated with posts I wrote ahead of time (so you can still get your daily "That Intern" fix).
See you Tuesday!
