That intern: The Twittern
Every intern class has so many personalities that they could fill a "Real World" cast. And every class has "That Intern" -- as in, "Don't be that intern." Each day I introduce you to one of those interns.
(Today's intern was suggested by Andrew Joseph, a U-Md. student who is interning at Men's Health magazine. He coined the term "Twittern," which totally makes me laugh.)
The Twittern is that intern who is always on Twitter. Always. Maybe it's for work, maybe it's not -- no one in the office really understands it enough to know for sure.
The Twittern is the self-proclaimed office expert when it comes to social media. That intern always keeps tweets under 120 characters for easy RT-ing and tracks click numbers on bit.ly (OMG, 13 people just read that intern's latest blog post about how no one in this office understands the greatness of Twitter).
The Twittern has hundreds of followers who care deeply about what that intern has to say about anything and everything: If only that intern's co-workers were as entranced.
