That intern: The hook up intern
Every intern class has so many different personalities, it is like a Real World cast. And every class has "That Intern" -- as in, "Don't be that intern." Each day I introduce you to one of those interns.
There's always one intern who takes networking to a whole new level. The hook up intern has overly friendly relations with as many fellow interns as quickly as possible. It usually starts with a fellow intern immediately following the meet-and-greet on the first night. And it ends in late August with one final fellow intern, who reasons, "Eh, everyone else has done it." In between those two, there are lots of other interns (and perhaps a few young staffers, roommates and friends of interns, too). In less than three months, that intern manages to build a questionable reputation that many Washington residents spend years creating on Late Night Shots.
