Welcome to Freshman Orientation 2010
If you are headed to college for the first time this fall, chances are back-to-school has been on your mind all summer.
Hopefully, you are excited -- these next four years (or five, or six) are going to be some of the most fun and formative of your life.
But I get it -- transitioning from high school to college can be scary. That's why I am devoting the next two weeks to Freshman Orientation 101.
There will be lots of advice from professors who have dealt with dozens of freshman classes and upperclassmen who know what it's like out there. We will try to cover an array of topics: Academic planning, getting along with your first roommate, decorating your dorm, buying school supplies on the cheap and detaching from your parents.
What questions do you have about freshman year? What are your biggest fears? What topics should I make sure to cover? Do you have some advice of your own that you would like to share? Shoot me an e-mail and let me know.

I'm glad you're done with the intern stereotypes.
