Bryn Mawr sings 'Hey there admissions ... '

Jenna Johnson

The tune is that of the Plain White T's hit song, "Hey There Delilah." The lyrics are the longing, pleading dreams of high school seniors everywhere: "Ohhhh, admissions let me in!"

The Cool Grey Hoodies of Bryn Mawr College posted the song on YouTube this spring, and it caught the attention of the Web site My College Guide. The sentiment of the song applies to those applying year-round.

My favorite line: "Hey there, admissions, I'm amazing and engaging. I knit sweaters for bald chickens and protest the sale of puppies at the mall. I'm sure you'll want to know it all. Give me a call."
