A new study of college drinkers has found that about two-thirds of students binge drink on a weekly basis -- for a guy, that means chugging down five drinks in two hours. For women, it's four drinks. On average, students said they did so about twice a week.

The American Institutes for Research announced Monday that students who drop out of college before their sophomore year cost taxpayers millions. Between 2003 and 2008, the grand national tallies reached $6.2 billion in state appropriations and $2.9 billion in grants. The state average was about $120.5 million.
