Veterans fight for priority registration for college classes

Student veterans want priority registration for their college classes, a perk given to athletes and honors students on many campuses. The University of Arizona recently announced student veterans could register early for next semester's classes.

New program to offer New Haven public school grads free college tuition

On Tuesday the city of New Haven and Yale announced a new program called the New Haven Promise -- if a local student graduates from a public high school, he or she will get a free ride to any Connecticut state college.
