Adios, cafeteria trays!
Walk into a college cafeteria and, chances are, you won't find a huge stack of trays near the front of the line. In the last few years, many college dining halls have ditched cafeteria trays to reduce utility and water costs, plus cut way down on the amount of wasted food.

Sewanee cuts tuition and fees by 10%
The University of the South, better known as Sewanee, is cutting its tuition and fees by 10 percent for the next school year. The price reduction applies to tuition, fees, room and board, taking the overall cost to attend Sewanee from around $46,000 to about $41,500.

New app turns maligned William & Mary mascot into a digital paperdoll
This week the College of William and Mary unveiled "Dress the Griffin," a mobile app that allows users to dress the Griffin in dozens of outfits. The mascot's digital closet includes a football uniform, hula costume, and top hat and tails.
