Green Sticking With No. 52

I'm not really sure how this rumor got started, but defenseman Mike Green will not be changing his number next season. He will continue to wear No. 52, according to a team official. As for the Sergei Fedorov matter, I'm still doing some reporting. I hope to have more details...

Report: Bank Sues Fedorov

According to a report in The Macomb Daily, Sergei Fedorov was sued for more than $2 million Monday in Macomb County (Mich.) by a bank that says the Caps center has failed to repay loans he took out four years ago. Citizens State Bank says Fedorov owes it $2.1 million...
