And the Caps Select ...
Defenseman Karl Alzner of the Calgary Hitmen (WHL). Of the top-ranked players, he's supposed the closest to being able to contribute at the NHL level next season. It's going to be interesting to see where he ends up next season. The Caps are already very young on the blue line.
