Just in case you were wondering, Brooks Laich will have his arbitration case heard in Toronto on July 23 and Milan Jurcina's will be heard on the 30th.

Thanks Tarik. My son and I were just talking about that. I can understand Jurcina maybe going for it. I still can't see Laich getting much. But, they've got the right to go for it. I'll be curious to see what happens if, for some reason, the arbitrator gives Laich more than what the Caps think he's worth. Maybe he'll get his release, eh?

They could walk away, but I have hard time believing Laich is going to get so much that the Caps would think it is necessary.

Good luck to Laich because he'll need it and Jurcina because he earned it.
