Tonight's lineup: Caps at Bruins
Unlike Tuesday night, the Capitals will face a rather seasoned Bruins lineup tonight at TD Garden as Boston has dressed most of its NHL regulars for the final contest before the Bruins head overseas to open the regular season as part of the NHL Premiere in Prague.
Nicklas Backstrom is wearing the captain's "C" while Matt Bradley and David Steckel have the "A". Based on warm ups, here are the Capitals lines and defensive pairings for the game:
Forwards
Johansson-Backstrom-Fehr
Chimera-Perreault-A.Gordon
Hendricks-B.Gordon-Bradley
Steckel-Beagle-Pinizzotto
Defense
Schultz-Carlson
Erskine-Alzner
Sloan-Fahey
Goal
Sabourin
Holtby
*The goaltenders are expected to split the game.

Is anyone else have trouble with the game stream being unstable?

@fanohock1 I had a little trouble with it in the middle of the period but that was it. The sound has been in and out but I don't care much.

Except Backstrom is getting credit for the goal that everyone thought was Schultz. That's what it says on the Caps website.

Hendricks is now officially a member of the MacDonald clan. He fought Campbell!
(The Caps fight for the honor of Clan MacDonald.)

I was a little worried after the second period penalty trouble. This is a great way to turn it around.

Great game tonight. I was right behind the caps bench. The team seemed to be much quicker than the bruins. A lot of quick cycling with the puck. Perreault and Gordan were especially active. btw - games stats are way off. the shots where extremely undercounted on the caps side. Even with the almost solid eight penalty minutes in the 2nd period, the Caps "unoffically" well out shot the bruins.
