Caps' Media Relations Staff Honored
The Caps' media relations staff has won the Dick Dillman Award for the third consecutive year, I'm told. The honor - each conference has a winner - goes to best media relation staff as voted by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.
These are the behind-the-scenes-folks who arrange interviews with players, pitch stories about the Caps to national media outlets and make sure the beat writers get the access they need to do their job, among many, many other duties.
So congratulations are in order for Nate Ewell, Paul Rovnak, Kurt Kehl and Kelly Murray.
