good to see my man MP on the 2nd line--Go Caps!

@lilnick

Agreed. I think Boudreau made a good choice in keeping him on the second line. Now if we can convice BB or GMGM to keep Perrault I think we could be in good shape. Lets see how consistant he is tonight, since thats what they are looking for.

GO CAPS!!

I understand BB isn't a big believer in matching lines but man do I hope Erskine - Sloan doesn't get caught out against the Canes' quick line. I know #4's been playing well but I attribute at least some of that to his usual partner thus far [#74].

As for Sloan, he has to be better than this, right? Is it nerves maybe, and the poor guy knows this is really his shot at establishing himself as a legit NHL d-man, and he doesn't want to screw it up and is just trying too hard? I haven't seen Hershey a ton but my understanding is he played much better than this in the A, am I wrong about that?

Apologies for the multi-thread re-post:

Just out of curiosity (and intense, overpowering anxiety), is anyone else having trouble with their CSN feed (in my case, on RCN cable in the District, HD channel) right now?

(At this rate, I'll post again for the game thread.)

I like what I am seeing in this period so far.

Especially in this home opener where you know the Canes want to boost the home fans.

Nice effort.
