Clark's Deal
Clark is due to earn $1.1 this season. The extension will pay him $2.75 million, $2.65 million and $2.5 million, according to sources.
Update 3 p.m. Here are a couple of quotes from Clark:
Asked about the possibility of playing on a checking line next season, he said: "I got a lot of [ice time] the past couple of years because of what we had on our team. If things change next year, if we're winning, I don't care. I could be the third string goalie and that would be fine."
Asked whether he accepted a "home team discount", he said: "Risk-reward can go either way. I like where I am right now. I like the organization. I love the area. It's a lot [of money] for me."
