Clymer On Re-Entry Waivers

Not sure what the Caps are up to, but I'm going to ask at the game tonight. He'll clear at noon tomorrow.

Update:Okay, I haven't run into George McPhee yet. Not that he would say much about Clymer's situation. But here's his deal: if a team puts in a claim on him, the Capitals will be responsible for half of this year's salary ($1 million) and next year's ($1.1 million). If he passes through waivers, the Capitals could recall him and make room for him on the roster by assigning a waiver-exempt player to Hershey or by sending someone else to the IR.

Update:Philips Arena is electric right now as the Thrashers raise the Southeast Division championship banner. I mean, I cover sports for a living. And I don't remember my ears hurting like this, at least not recently.
