Draft Day Update
Now that I've gotten my credential and a bite to eat, it's time to get going. I haven't spoken to George McPhee yet, but according to Mike Vogel of www.washingtoncaps.com, trade talks are heating up. Something could be in the works, in fact.
I've got some interviews to conduct (for a non-hockey project I'm working on) and a live TV spot around 5, but I plan to update The Insider as soon as I hear something concrete.
In the meantime, read Vogel's article here.

put a trade together for marleu. get him a non jagr extension. let him play with ovie and clark. sign ovie's good friend danius and have him play the power forward with semin and backstrom and then pick up a roman hamrlik so you can move the puck around on the power play. simple as that.
