Fedorov Won't Play This Weekend
Sergei Fedorov, who has been sidelined the past eight days with an ankle injury, said he's getting better and he even practiced with the team this morning. But the veteran center also said he does not expect to play this weekend, though he's hopeful he can make the long road trip next week.

I hope Fedorov's ankle continues to improve. Stay off the ice as long as you need to; we'll be here when you get back, Feds!

Tarik, this isn't one of those dreaded high-ankle sprains, is it? That would certainly keep Feds out of the lineup for quite a while. Look what happened to Fleury and Crosby last season.
