Fleischmann Hurt
A few quick notes after the first 30 minutes of training camp:
*Tomas Fleischmann has some sort of an injury and won't skate today. A team spokesman said GM George McPhee will have an update for the media after he meets with the medical staff.
*Eric Fehr is on the ice, but isn't assigned to a line. He's also the only player wearing a yellow jersey. So that presumably means he also has not received medical clearance to participate fully.
*Despite seeking a deal to play this season in Europe, Michael Nylander is expected to skate with Group C, which hits the ice at 2:15. He's also expected to address reporters later.
*Coach Bruce Boudreau's first line as of Day 1: Alex Ovechkin-Nicklas Backstrom-Mike Knuble. Boudreau had toyed with the idea of going with Ovechkin-Backstrom-Semin. But he's apparently decided against it -- for now.

lol Flash is as fragile as a newborn. Probably pulled his vag. Don't come back into the lineup please, go play with nyles in Russia, would much rather see some prospects with NHL size and strength in our lineup

Please don't compare Flash to Nyls! Flash has shown ability and still has plenty of time to come intohis own and become a consistent contributor to the team.
