'Great Chance' Nylander Plays Tomorrow

When asked about Michael Nylander's status moments ago, Coach Bruce Boudreau repeated what he said this morning, "he's getting a rest."

Whether that "rest" has anything to do with him getting one point in his previous seven games, I guess we'll never know because Boudreau didn't share much about the situation or his conversation with Nylander, who was tough to find this morning.

Boudreau did, however, say, "There's a great chance he'll be back in the lineup again tomorrow" in New Jersey.

Tonight's lineup has not changed from the morning skate.

I don't see this team changing all that much.

It makes sense to rest your oldest players on back-to-backs. Maybe Clark or Brash sits tomorrow.

My daughter is in DC on vacation and she is at the game. She called and has the bobblehead in her hands. Goody. I'll get it when she comes home.

Please tell me that Semin is just in the locker room dropping a deuce and he's not hurt...

Never say "shutout" before the end of the game. Now you know why! It's the only superstition that is always true!

Posted by: _jordan | November 14, 2008 9:05 PM | Report abuse

Darn, I was hoping for TJ to get a SO. Can't leave a goalie to hang. I hope that close misses don't come back to haunt the Caps.

The Caps radio team also noticed Semin's absence. They have no update on his status. What the news Tarik?
