Green's Crib to be Featured on MTV
Last week, Mike Green launched a new website, www.greenlife52.com. This week, I'm hearing MTV is scheduled to tape a segment for 'Cribs' at his condo.
Based on what I know about Green's interest in fashion, interior design, art and exotic sports cars, I think fans are going to enjoy getting an inside look at his life off the ice. No details yet on when the show will air, however.

Tarik:
sorry to sound like a wet blanket, but I for one could care less about Green's office ice lifestyle. all i care to see of Green is him doing his best on ice for the Capitals. for a guy that likes to tout his rural canadian roots, he comes off a little over the top. seriously, i get a little worried about m-tv dudes and the distractions that the media circus brings. check the ego, Greenie

@doughless
Get the stick out of your butt. It's the offseason and Mike Green is as much of human being and you and me.
When Green misses practice or some nonsense because of this, then it's a problem. Until then, who cares?

hopefully greenie doesnt look like a jersey tool like he does on his website

distraction... it's a 30 minute show... if he was doing it for NHL All Access would you still be against it. It's great exposure for Hockey and Caps Hockey alike. let our guys do whatever they want on their free time, it's their lives.

doughless- Come on. Greenie has a life, he isn't hockey 24/7. He shouldn't be. Greenie doesn't have an ego and he even said before that it's weird for him to be considered famous.

As far as I know, MTV is still in town shoting the real life or something like that. So they already have a crew working here. I am guessing they looked around for a local sports person to do a piece on, it is the offseason so why not

Semvechkin:
I would be on the ground if he held an Allen Iverson-style press conference after that.

That is so lame. Is it me or all this show boating a bit premature for a player that hasn't won anything yet. Let's focus on the upcoming season and winning the Stanley Cup before bragging about your "Crib". Not that anyone that regularly watches MTV will know who Mike Green is anyway.

Didn't we already do something like this for the Caps' website? It's not that big of a deal, when it's compared to the places of residences of overpriced gangsters and bubble-headed people MTV has made an episode on. I love Mike Green but somehow the words "sell-out" keep trying to escape my lips. =X

Maybe MTV is getting some ideas from the fact that the Caps were showing stuff about the guys' houses and cars.
The material MTV will show on Green is probably not all that different than the stuff we've already seen.

Comcast showed his house last year during constuction & it was sick with kit.
Dude knows how to spend the dough on nice stuff.
Don't hate cause you can't create peeps.
