"Grobert? Who's Grobert?"
I came across this gem of a quote from -- who else? -- Ovechkin in this morning's Ottawa Sun.
Speaking of surly, former NHLer Bob Probert was outside the Caps dressing room after the game. He introduced himself to Ovechkin. The star walked away and asked somebody, "Grobert? Who's Grobert?"
How funny.
Something else worth passing along, just in case you missed it yesterday: Forbes says the Caps are the NHL's 28th most valuable franchise at $145 million, ahead of only St. Louis and Nashville. Check out the rankings and team by team analysis here.
Note:The Caps will have an optional practice today at 11:30 at KCI. I'm going to need everything to go just right to get there. (I'm back in Detroit waiting for a connection. Yes, Detroit.) But I'm hopeful. If I make it, I'll have an update or two later.
