They look a little slow out there.

I'm never going to count them out but maybe this will be an object lesson for them.

Not to state the obvious but, 4-2 would be much nicer than 5-2 going into the third.

Schultz and Erskine look so slow out there compared to the Flames forwards.

It's ok the team is actually kind of dinged up now. Better to rest them or give them the time they need to repair. Playoffs are close no sense in furthering injuries, plus we can take another look at call ups. Plus Varlamov has more time in net to correct himself. Better to make mistakes now then down the road when it really counts.

They deserved that beating.

Valuable lesson learned. At least it didn't cost them. No more taking periods off. It put us in a deep hole that we just couldn't climb out of. They tried their hardest but it's on them for putting themselves so behind in the first place. Pretty dissapointing considering they had a chance to clinch the East at home and in the first period didn't even look like they wanted to be there. Oh well, move on to Tuesday.

Let's go Blue Jackets! Let's go Avs! Let's go... Flyers? I have to cheer for the Flyers?

Hopefully it's a wake up call. They need to play a full 60 minutes (and yes, that's impossible but you get the point. Close to it.) They can't sleepwalk through a period and start playing after they're down by 4 goals. First periods are usually our thing but it hasn't been lately. I hope Calgary doesn't make the playoffs, I don't like that team. And what was with Iginla getting all angry at Nick for a good hit?? He seemed like a pansy there. He's pretty annoying.

screw that idea... they can clinch it next game themselves
NO way I'm cheering for the flyers... I'm hoping Atl passes them in standing and they probably will next week
