Got questions for Caps players? Ask them here

By Lindsay Applebaum

Now's your chance to go straight to the source. Every week, we'll ask different Capitals players questions from fans and deliver the answers on video.

To start off, let us know your questions for forwards Matt Hendricks and Jason Chimera and defenseman Karl Alzner.

To ask a question, fill out the form below. We'll be crediting question-askers in the video, so if you'd like, include your name or Twitter handle.

SAOTI: I think the funniest nickname they have is one for Semin, three letters that starts with "J."

For some of these questions, if there as a font option, I'm sure "crayon" would be selected. Seriously?

@tom

I agree, but tell me it wouldnt be funny if they refer to a certain player as "Esskay", or "BFV", or Snoopy (get it??beagle)...etc etc. There is just too many humorous fellows on that team to not have more creative nicknames than (insert last name) - last letter + y or ie.

Hi my question is for GMGM: Thanks for letting me be a fan all these years! Thanks for the ticket prices and the great deals at the concession and souvenir booths! I only have one little question: Are you going to get a real %#&*#% Center? Thanks, have a nice day!

To all three guys:

Don't you feel that some of these questions are incredibly lame? Be honest.

i think it is time to "close" the "Got questions for Caps players? Ask them here"

I'm embarrassed for some of these people with some of the questions.
