Johnson Gets Nod
Brent Johnson will make his first start in four games tonight in Columbus, despite Jose Theodore's shut out against Montreal last night, Coach Bruce Boudreau confirmed moments ago at Nationwide Arena.
Boudreau said he was tempted to play Theodore again, but that he decided to stick with the previously determined plan to go with Johnson.
I'll have a little more in a few minutes.

Not a bad decision, rest Theodore on a back-to-back. He played well last night.

Thunder....I think Lafleur is still working on the dip, duck, dodge, dive and duck thing.

great game last night. was impressed w/ alzner's positioning and defense around the net. he still looked tentative moving the puck, in one instance he had a clear lane to carry the puck out of his zone but passed anyway. sami had some troubles with his skating and at least one bad pass. helmer looked good considering he logged a lot of minutes. borque sure does hustle but his size is definitely working against him. flash was outstanding again.
lots of kudo's to gmgm for bringing these guys along well. seeing our old buddy robert lang out there reminded me that that trade brought us green and flash. not bad. where's our favorite gm hater? oh yeah, they won so he wont dare post.

on the road back to dc and wanted to find out if the game is on tv tonight.
Also, thanks for the informative posts over the last two games. It made it less painful to be missing the games.

Why haven't we tried Peter Lafleur in goal yet?
