Tonight's lineup: Caps at Stars

By Katie Carrera

Washington will try for its fifth consecutive victory tonight at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, while Alex Ovechkin will attempt to not match the longest goal-scoring drought of his career -- nine games without lighting the lamp in 2008-09.

This game will feature another new set of line configurations for the Capitals, this time with Brooks Laich centering a line with Jason Chimera and Alexander Semin while Marcus Johansson will play between Matt Hendricks and Eric Fehr.

Here's what the lineup should look like:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Backstrom-Knuble
Chimera-Laich-Semin
Hendricks-Johansson-Fehr
Steckel-Gordon-Bradley

Defense
Schultz-Green
Alzner-Carlson
Erskine-Hannan

Goal
Neuvirth
Varlamov

Scratches: Tom Poti (groin), Tyler Sloan and D.J. King.

I know OVI is trying to refine his game, but I'd just like to mention.. you can refine your game and still score like a madman.

Proof: Sidney Crosby.
