Morning Reading List
*Tarik went back to school this week. Well, sort of. He sat in on a graduate-level sports management class at Georgetown taught by Capitals General Manager George McPhee for today's hard-copy edition.
*Remember how Coach Bruce Boudreau took a few young fans out for lunch yesterday? If you've been dying for more details, the Post's Reliable Source has them.
*NHL analyst Bill Clement wrote a column about Sergei Fedorov, "the best all-around Russian forward that's ever played in the NHL."
"Fedorov has been enigmatic. When he was young, he was loner. But now his interaction with two young Russian stars with the Capitals - Alexander Ovechkin and Alexander Semin - has been terrific and even in the short time he's been with Washington his influence on the two has been invaluable in their continued development."
*Puck Daddy Greg Wyshynski has one of the most entertaining interviews of the young season with Alexander Semin.
*Continuing the list of stories featuring Semin, the Canadian Press becomes the latest news outlet to take a look at the quiet Alex.
*The Capitals face the hot-start Sabres tomorrow in Buffalo, who are 6-2-2. But the Sabres are winless in their past three games heading into Saturday's contest after falling 5-2 to the Lightning Thursday.
*Boudreau has signed on to publish his autobiography, with the book expected for October 2009.
