Morrisonn Injured

Defenseman Shaone Morrisonn has suffered a groin pull, I'm told. He did not play in the second period and isn't expected to return.

I'll have more on his status after the game.

Been out at happy hours. Been watching the 3rd. Caps are buzzing. The tying goal was a foregone conclusion.

What's the deal with Fedorov?

Great game for the Russian 1st line. OV may not have scored a goal, but he was still outstanding. Semin is just plain sick.

Last ten minutes was like a completely different game. Backstrom is looking better and better, and Semin has quite a flair for the dramatic!

And that Brashear/Brookbank fight was money. Brashear destroyed him.

Please keep the OFS line and Johnny in net!

Also, thank God not an OT win within the division...great job, boys!

Brashear v Brokkbank was not even remotely fair. That kid and his brother learned last year that The Donald is not worth the risk...slow learners. Sasha is a Beast....

This was the worst ice of the season at Verizon. From the first shift, both teams were skating tepidly. No surprise that someone pulled a groin in those conditions; sorry it had to be one of ours.
