I watched the replay of the game on the hurricane broadcast, they were dumping on Semin a little becuase he still uses a translater. I think he knows,speaks,understands, more than he leads on to people. He is just the shy type , and doesnt like all the hoop la.

PaulMorin88, I can't control what others do as I have backed up Semin ever since he came to the Caps - ask anyone.

But, the truth is... you are just unhappy about your pathetic Flyers. Washington = city of losers... at least we all have jobs up here. What is there to do in Philly? And who is to say the Flyers will even make the playoffs? They have a losing record right now. All of those players are better than the Caps players? Johnson has better stats than Biron. Brash plays in most of the Caps games - Cote does not. But last I checked, this was hockey, not boxing. Timonen - who is that? Richards - he's having a good year. How is Briere doing by the way?

Semin is from Siberia. It's not like he grew up in Moscow like Ovie where there was probably more English exposure. He probably doesnt want to say much until he feels like he wont mess up all his words.

@Capsfannmiss & Tarik - How did THAT work out, anyway? I don't get it. Johnson played only the last third in Atlanta, and yet he got stuck with the loss; Theordore played the last TWO thirds last night, and Johnson got the win? I'm confused...!

Against Atlanta it was tied at 4 and then Brent gave up 3. Last night it was 3-1 when Jose came in, so it was Brent's W.

_828: Okay, I'll give you that. How's this for an entertaining topic? A couple of days ago, Peerless posted a list of things that people shouldn't do at Caps games because it's really annoying. The thread sort of died a little bit, but I'll throw it out here -- what's your one biggest pet peeve that people do at Caps games?

Mine is the people who either don't wait for the stop in play before returning to their seats, or do wait but take thirty years to do it, so they're still in the way when play starts again.
