Nycholat Recalled

I'm told defenseman Lawrence Nycholat has been recalled from the Hershey Bears on a emergency basis for tonight's game in Toronto. He'll replace Shaone Morrisonn, who missed Friday's 4-1 loss to the Devils with the flu. Morrisonn did not make the trip to T.O.

The Caps had only five defensemen in the lineup against Jersey. They'll have six tonight, but one will be playing in his second NHL game (Jeff Schultz) and another (Nycholat) will be playing in the NHL for the first time since 2003-04.

Should be interesting.
