Nycholat Traded to Ottawa
The Caps just traded spare parts defenseman Lawrence Nycholat to the Senators for minor league defenseman Andy Hedlund, 28, and a sixth-round draft pick in the 2007 draft. Not a major move, and it probably won't be the last move of the sort for the Caps in the coming hours.
