Off To Indy
As I mentioned in a previous post, over the next few days my attention will be on the fastest cars on Earth rather than the fastest game on Earth. In other words, I'll be covering the Indy 500 through Monday. So I might not be able to blog very much. I will, of course, update you with any breaking Caps news.

Have fun covering the Indy 500, Tarik! Hopefully something blogworthy happens.
As for the preds, do you think the league stepped in on that sale with the same kind of provisions that kept him from buying the penguins? I'm guessing not. So The preds will probably move within the next couple of seasons.

Tarik,
I assume this means you won't be covering the Stanley Cup Finals, which I know is not your decision but your editors. But I would think many Caps fans would be interested in an article about Brian Murray in his first time coaching in the Stanley Cup Finals, considering he coached the Caps for seven years and had some really talented teams but always managed to get eliminated early in the playoffs.

Tarik,
Have you heard anything from your sources regarding Kip Brennan?? Will their be any further discipline taken by the AHL?

Be sure and let us know if you get wind of any plans to expand the NHL to Indy while you are there.

So Basille(?) apparently just bought the Predators. How much longer before they move?
