Ovechkin Hurt?
The Caps are up 2-0 on the Isles, but Alex Ovechkin appears to have suffered an injury. With about six minutes remaining in the first period, Ovechkin was dealt a glancing blow in the neutral zone from Tim Jackman. Ovechkin finished his shift, but he was favoring his left arm/shoulder and headed straight for the dressing room.
I'll post another update as soon as I hear something.

told you Ove hurt - dislocation of the shoulder out until Feb.

Hey windjammer: There is no team in the NHL that is so deep talent wise as the Caps Org. If any more stars go down look for a new one to emerge. Oscar Osala and Aucoin are studs. As for goal tending I was there when Theodore shut out the Canadiens. He was brilliant. We will be ok - why so negative. The rest of the division isn't going anywhere and the caps are far too deep.

After seeing the pregame CSN video of Semin skating around so effortlessly, and hearing that he's not coming back til he's 100%, I'm getting perturbed!!

no it is a slight tear but he can play with pain unlike the rest of them. Although Feds I give him the age factor to rest up.
Make no mistake about it Ovie will not be the same for awhile.

if he had a serious shoulder injury, he wouldn't be able to skate, and pivoting, as he did in the video. It's a long season, PRO players play with nagging injuries, they don't have to be 100 percent,to play.There was a reason Lisa was asking those questions.
